The short version

1. Who we are
Nutilz (nutilz.com) is a free collection of online utility tools. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how it is used.
2. How tools handle your data
Nutilz tools fall into two categories:
Client-side tools (70+ tools)
The vast majority of tools — including all text tools, developer tools, calculators, design tools, wellness tools, image tools, and security tools — run entirely inside your browser using standard Web APIs. No data, text, images, or files are transmitted to any server. Nothing you enter or upload is accessible to us.
Server-side tools (PDF Compressor, PDF to Word Converter)
These two tools require server processing because they use libraries that cannot run in a browser. When you upload a file, it is transmitted over HTTPS to our server, processed in memory, and the converted result is returned to your browser. Files are never written to disk, never stored in a database, and are deleted from memory immediately after the response is sent. We do not log file contents or filenames.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how tools are used. GA4 collects anonymous, aggregated data including:
- Pages visited and time spent
- General geographic region (country or city level)
- Device type and browser
- How users arrived at the site (e.g. direct, search engine)
GA4 uses cookies to distinguish between sessions. This data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not use this data to identify individuals. We have enabled IP anonymisation and do not share GA4 data with third parties.
We have also linked GA4 to Google Search Console to understand which search queries lead to the site. This data is anonymous and aggregated.
4. Cookies
Nutilz itself does not set any cookies. Google Analytics sets the following first-party cookies on your browser:

You can disable analytics cookies at any time by using your browser's cookie settings or a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.
5. No personal data collected
We do not have user accounts. We do not collect names, email addresses, passwords, or any personally identifiable information. We do not use advertising networks, retargeting pixels, or social media tracking scripts.
6. Third-party services
The following third-party services are used by this site:
- Vercel — hosts the frontend and serves pages. Vercel may collect server access logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) for infrastructure purposes. See Vercel Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymous usage analytics. See Google Privacy Policy.
7. Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about how Google Analytics processes data, you can use Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
